While all donations to our scholarship program are immensely welcomed, there is also the opportunity of having a more personal relationship with a particular child. A donation of $300/year, or commitment of $25/month, sponsors the education of a child in elementary through high school grades. This includes GHA’s enrichment workshops as well as mentoring. A university education costs on average $1000/year ($84/month) and offers a world accessible to few indigenous students. Sponsors will receive an emailed photo and short bio of their student, and a letter from the student each year. You are very welcome to write them back. Our Guatemalan staff will translate your emails when necessary. You are welcome to email us with any specific requests, such as age or gender, or we will assign you a student from the many waiting for your sponsorship.
